Hello! My name is Craig Robinson, and I’m the Owner and Managing General Agent of Insurance Consultants International. You might know us as TripInsuranceConsultants.com, InsureYourLuxuryTravel.com, GlobalHealthInsurance.com, or MissionTripInsurance.com.
I started this agency in 1998. And I say our agency because this business isn’t just mine—it belongs to the incredible team of highly educated, experienced women who keep it running. These ladies wear a lot of hats: hockey moms, soccer moms, single moms, military spouses, grandmothers—you name it! And yes, in case you were wondering, I am the only guy in the company. So, if a client ever says, “I talked to some guy…”—they know exactly who to point to!
The goal of this blog is simple: to share some of the knowledge, wisdom, and experiences I’ve gathered over 26 years in the insurance industry, as the employer of this fantastic team, as a husband of 43 years, a father to three, and a grandfather to seven.
I hope these posts will be entertaining, insightful, and maybe even a little useful! I promise to keep them short—just two to three minutes of reading time.
I recently turned 65, and someone casually mentioned, "In 15 years, you'll be 80!" My first thought? Wait a minute… 15 years ago, I was 50! How did that happen?
Time moves fast—sometimes faster than we realize. And that’s why my wife and I started saying something a few years ago:
“Do IT now, Before IT’s Over.”
So, what is IT for you?
We all assume we’ll have more time… until we don’t. But here’s the good news: you still have time now!
Before life changes, before schedules fill up, before opportunities pass—take that step. Be intentional.
I’ve seen it too many times—people waiting for “someday” only to realize that someday never put itself on the calendar. So, whether it’s booking that trip, calling an old friend, or just spending more time doing what matters most, let’s make sure we’re actually living life, not just planning for it.
I’d love to hear—drop a comment or send me a message. Let’s make this the year we stop waiting and start doing.
Do IT now… because someday is today.
- Craig
